Heidi-Leigh Bennett joined UNH Extension in Hillsborough County in 2001. Helping people live healthy lives through increased knowledge and skills has always been a passion for Heidi-Leigh, who is a life-long learner focused on psychology and wellness. Prior to Extension, she built the foundation of her skills by volunteering in schools and her community. As an Extension Teacher with New Hampshire’s EFNEP and SNAP-Ed programs, Heidi-Leigh provides educational programming to limited income individuals. She is largely focused on teaching the basics of nutrition, food safety, cooking and life skills to urban youth, helping them develop healthy life habits.
