The EFNEP Older Youth Evaluation Committee was formed in 2018 with the charge of revising the behavioral indicators for EFNEP youth participants in grades 6-12. Since then, EFNEP coordinators, supervisors, and evaluators from 19 states and territories have come together to review literature, solicit feedback from other coordinators and frontline staff, develop revised indicators, and conduct preliminary testing. In this brief committee update, we will provide an overview of the committee’s work so far, highlight changes to indicators we are testing, and discuss future directions for question testing and a proposed timeline for the rollout of the revised EFNEP 6th-12th Grade Survey.
